Chiara Raineri graduated in set design from the Brera National Academy and specialised at the International School of Illustration in Sarmede and the Ars in Fabula School of Illustration in Macerata. She teaches illustration at the Palladio Design Institute in Verona and is an artist involved in the ‘Disegnare il Futuro’ project, funded by the San Zeno Foundation. Her illustrations were shortlisted in the ‘Il bambino spettatore’ competition organised by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 2019 and 2020.

In 2019, she was one of the illustrators of the book Cento Gianni Rodari. Cento storie e filastrocche. Cento illustratori, Einaudi ragazzi. In 2021 Bacchilega Junior publiched Un po’ più che amici, of which she is both the author and illustrator. Nel 2022 Camelozampa publiched Piccola Pantera, which won the Nati per Leggere Prize in 2023. In 2024 Camelozampa publiched, Pensa se.

In 2025 Camelozampa publiched Spettacolare. In Aprile 2026 Storiedichi edizioni publiched Conosci il mondo.
